What’s Good This Week…

As you may well know, we aren’t very big into trends over here, we like to go with our gut, and our gut is Luving bold color, bold color, and bold color. Moreover, not just your typical Autumn colors. I see wispy pinks, soft greys, rich blues and purples. What’s bold to you? What colors have you been seeing out and about? Latch on to one of those, integrate it into, or make it a focal point of your next outfits. One of the biggest things you can do to define your style is to accept that your mind looks at the world quite differently than others. Embrace that delicious one-of-a-kind feeling. 

For example, we have been intrigued by the early morning, late October Sky, that’s why it’s this week’s feature photo. Let’s take a look at it again. 

What do you see? Where do your eyes lock? What colors intrigue you the most? Perhaps it’s one that’s not so prominent. Do you see color combinations you think would make a good outfit? The best part about this small exercise is, your answers to those questions are different than everyone else’s. So we challenge you this week to take your answers to those questions, consult no one, and construct an outfit (TAG or DM us on Instagram to share). Influence from peers or family may begin to scare you into letting their thoughts affect what you enjoyed most about the photo and the pure idea of what you just created. It’s not always a bad thing to consult with others, however the marriage between the thoughts of others and fast-fashion can attempt to force a certain style on you. Be mindful of what you love, and carefully craft your personal style. Make it something that comes from your gut, something delicious to savor.
